Just off Dixie Highway in Oakland Park, neighborhood kids ride their bikes or play hopscotch in the city’s Art Park, a budding local space for outdoor art installations. Now a new mural from international artist Elio Mercado – aka EVOCA1 – pays homage to the city’s generations of children, as part of the county-wide VisualEYES mural series honoring Broward County’s centennial anniversary.
